News Rights of Reply and Correction

This procedure is used as a reference and guide in handling the Right of Reply, Correction or Complaint from readers.

This Right of Answer, Correction or Complaint is a response regarding all content broadcast on the NTVNews website

Handling for Rights of Reply, News Corrections or Complaints is carried out as follows:

Readers must provide a clear identity in the form of a KTP or telephone number/cellphone that can be contacted and provide valid facts regarding the Right to Answer, Correction of News or Complaints submitted.

All Rights of Reply, News Corrections or Complaints must be resolved within 2 X 24 hours of receipt of the report

The period in point 3 above does not apply to problems related to legal issues, such as subpoenas and others.

News Complaints and Corrections that have been made will later be broadcast on www.ntvnews.id with the title using News Correction or Right of Answer.

Fact Check Content Complaint Handling Procedure.

  1. Complaints regarding NTVNews fact-checking content can be sent to emailĀ redaksi@ntvnews.id.
  2. The NTVNews Fact Check Team will re-verify the content of the fact check in question by the complainant.
  3. Reverification is carried out by reviewing the methodology used in fact-checking articles, adding evidence, or interviewing experts or related parties.
  4. If an error is found, the conclusion in the fact-check article will be changed. The editor will add ‘(Update)’ to the title and caption explaining the change.
  5. Changes in conclusions in articles can be followed by changes in ratings on Facebook.
  6. Publishers or content uploaders can submit corrections or complaints, if they feel that the rating given by the NTVNews Fact Check Team is not appropriate, by using the Here form
